Q&A with Loren Gustafson
How did you end up working at Lyons Industries?
A couple of Lyons employees reached out to me when they knew I was looking for a job in HR support and suggested I send in my resume.
How would you describe what you do for your job?
I assist the HR department in many tasks, from interview tours and new hire orientations to administrative tasks, and provide overall additional HR support to all Lyons employees.
What is your favorite part of your Lyons career that isn’t part of your job description?
Getting private tours from the company President, Lance. He provides a lot of detail of the plant’s history as well as shares the exciting things they are working on for the future.
What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
Spend time with my family, work around the yard, go to the beach, play and rough house with my two young daughters.
